Short Reels Challenge

Entry limit: 1 participant per school
What this event involves
Shot and edited live on campus. The theme is announced only at the start, and students have the session to film, cut and publish a 30–60 second reel on their own phone.
The finished reel goes up on the participant's own Instagram account within the time the organisers specify.
Filmed and posted on the day
Students bring their own smartphone, film and edit on campus, then upload the reel to their own Instagram account tagging @Achieveschoolofeducation with #ASTRA5.0.

What to bring or prepare
- Their own smartphone, charged, with editing app installed
Key rules
- 1All recording and editing must be done during the competition.
- 2Only the participant's own original photos, video and audio may be used.
- 3AI-generated visuals or voiceovers are not permitted unless specified by the organisers.
- 4The reel must be 30–60 seconds and submitted in MP4 format.
- 5Internet access may only be used for uploading the final reel, if instructed.
