What this event involves
One student runs to a library station, finds the correct book using a clue card and memorises a paragraph. The other writes down exactly what is dictated back.
Highest accuracy in the shortest time wins.

Key rules
- 1Each team is one Runner and one Writer. This is one of the three events where a school may enter two teams.
- 2The runner must locate the correct book using only the provided clue card, and the book stays at its station.
- 3The runner may only memorise — no photography, writing or carrying the book.
- 4A maximum of three visits to the book is permitted.
- 5The writer must write only what the runner dictates.
