What this event involves
A two-round language challenge. In Round 1 teams decode five hidden sentences from picture clues and grid names, writing them on the writable desk.
Only teams scoring a perfect 10/10 advance to Round 2, where they rebuild a story from jumbled sentence cards.

Format and rounds
- 1Round 1 — Grid Quest3 minutes, 5 hidden sentences, 2 marks each
- 2Round 2 — Story Shift2 minutes, qualified teams only
Key rules
- 1Teams of 2 participants.
- 2Each sentence has a picture clue; the grid name is an additional hint.
- 3Sentences must be written accurately to score.
- 4Only teams scoring 10/10 in Round 1 qualify for Round 2.
- 5Once the cards are arranged, the team must notify the judge for evaluation.
