What this event involves
A straight speed-solving contest on a standard 3×3 cube. The timer starts on the judge's signal and stops when the participant indicates completion.
All six faces must be correctly completed for the solve to count.

What to bring or prepare
- Their own standard 3×3 Rubik's Cube
Key rules
- 1Participants must bring their own standard 3×3 cube — no other cube type is permitted.
- 2The cube must be completely scrambled before the round begins.
- 3Inspection is allowed only when the judges instruct.
- 4No outside assistance; any unfair practice may lead to disqualification.
