What this event involves
Teams build a working scientific model on the spot, then demonstrate it, explain the science behind it and answer the judges' questions.
Twenty suggested topics are shared in advance — senior topics lean towards sensors, automation and sustainability.

What to bring or prepare
- All materials needed to build the model — recycled and eco-friendly materials encouraged
Key rules
- 1One team of two students per school. Only working models are accepted.
- 2The model must be built during the competition, using only materials the team brings.
- 3Teams must explain the scientific principle, the working mechanism and real-life applications.
- 4Battery-operated or low-voltage electrical models are permitted.
- 5Open flames, hazardous chemicals and unsafe electrical connections are prohibited.
Judges' decisions shall be final and binding. See general rules
