Picture puzzles hide common English idioms. Participants read the arrangement, position, symbols and illustrations, and write out the complete expression.
Fifteen idioms, twenty minutes, no dictionaries.

Key rules
- 1Individual event; answers are written on the answer sheet provided.
- 2No dictionaries, mobile phones, books, internet access or outside assistance.
- 3Answers must be written clearly and legibly.
- 4No extra time after the final whistle.
- 5Ties go to the participant with the most correct idioms in the shortest time.
